Mike passed away on April 8th, 2024. Born in Boulder, Colorado to James Thomas and Helen Thomas (Hoffman). He spoke of his hometown, Preceded in death by his parents and brothers James Patrick and John Timothy. Survived by his sisters Elizabeth Beasley (Thomas) and Mary Stewart (Thomas). David Chris Eskestrand was born on April 2, 1948, in Portland, Oregon, to Chris and Lenore (Dahl) Eskestrand. Subsequently, the family moved to Northern California where he grew up on a chicken farm around a multitude of animals. During this time, he enjoyed camping with the family in the mountains and Redwood groves.
